My Host Cats are Wild Beasts
I know that this is in no means Guatemala-specific, but yesterday I came back to the house only to find my two host cats crunching away on a blackbird.
Oh my goodness. Appearances can be deceiving. I bet that blackbird took a look at that cute litte kitty and thought "no problem". Have you ever seen the cats catch a mouse? Mom
Yikes.. I am a city girl I guess. I thought cats only chased and killed birds for sport. I never realized they ate them... ! I need to get out of my office more often. And that cat looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth!!

ReplyDeleteYeah I don't think that they get fed enough... And this kitten did have help from its mom because that is literally all that was left of it.
